I let them go
I let them go.
since birth I had them. Their voices were
soft & their words comforting. The day we
switched the closer they got. The smiles had
become scary. The cool became cold & I did
not know where I became different.
I tried to leave them in the corner, But
the wall wasn’t strange enough, How can
someone not know who or what they are
in this world? I was hurt so I hugged
them. I cut to please them, I screamed
to soothe them. I even pushed people a-
way, I did all these things to keep
them. But they want me to themselv-
es. Every heart killed in the dreams th-
at would never happen! “Stop!” I’d yell this
all day. I went the area where the plants
live
I breathed the air only filtered by
nature. I clung to idea of never leaving
happines, I did these things just to
leave them. I tried to lose them in the
field, But they are my friends, He yelled
at me “I’m the one thats there for you!”
“I can be there for myself!” Yet I
know that that’s not true, “No need to
be rude” she says “can’t we just go to
sleep & never wake up?” “NO! WE fo-
und A HEART! WE FOUND SOME-
THING TO LIVE FOR!”
I let them go, Or so I thought, I
trained them instead, Now I don’t
mind them in my head.
