I Let It Slip Away
I let it slip away
Off into the blue
Over the horizon
Flying out of view
Feeling kinda sad
I turned away and left
The closing of a chapter
Leaving me bereft
I find endings very tough
So I avoid them if I can
But I must farewell this fantasy
Goodbye... retirement plan
