I Let Go

Not always do we meet people with dreams
fantasies too foolish to share
Imaginations too absurd to express

We met and not at first sight but I fell
We could play from sunrise till moonset

But in pictures do I see our moments together now
Every lovesong shared in smiles now brings me tears

I don't miss the sacrifices because you never made any
I miss your smiles and lies

I miss my ego that I lost in the bid to please you
My existence miss your presence and unfulfilled essence, my Orion.
