I Know Too
You've been through so much, more than anyone can perceive.
So hard to believe, a lifetime of anguish one person can conceive.
I imagine how you must grieve, or think people are only out to deceive.
The loss of faith in humanity, relentless pain so desperate to relieve.
When around people it's suddenly too overwhelming always needing to leave.
Just know torture and pain is not the only thing in life that you will receive.
Happiness and love is something you are able to achieve.
