I Know One Is of You

I hear you call her name
I hear you tell your lies
Your thunder and your rain
Soon to be your screaming and your cries

So many stars out there
I know one is of you
Vengeance consumes my soul
Hatred is it’s fuel

The promises of the dead
The words of a lost fool
I said I’d wait forever
I said I’d come to you

The murmurings of life
People happy, sad or cruel
The air tastes different now
Living here is not to do

Departed from this life
But living is this body too
A seething hatred for my kind

A constant love burning for you.
