I Know My Rights

Know your rights I kept tossing and turning. I was struggling to sleep. I kept on checking the time. Am I having insomnia? I am sleepy but I cant close my eyes. Why is he not coming back? "He may be stuck in traffic or something bad happened to him." I kept on looking at the door hoping to see him coming through. I fell asleep worried sick about him. He came back the following day looking happy and healthy. I asked him where he was. He slapped me and said "You don't ask the whereabouts of your husband, you are a wife for goodness sake act like one." Not even one tear escaped my eyes, I was used to all of this. No don't look at me like that, I love my husband I cant just pack and leave. I know my rights. But I also know he is right. I am his wife not his mother. Asking him questions is not my duty but he's mother's. As much as I loved him, I stood up for my rights. I packed and left. Aha! I can hear you say "Good move" I left and never looked back. See? He is now running after me like a shadow. I know my rights.
