I Know Its True
theres something about you
that draws me in
is it your smile?
that is the highlight of every day
your voice?
so soft and sweet
the way you hold me?
always warm and inviting
or is it your eyes?
so kind...captivating...beautiful
no word will ever be good enough
to use when describing you
i couldnt even get close
all i know
is that youre in my life now
bringing joy
with each new day
and i know im so lucky
to hear you say
"i love you"
beause every time
i know its true
and i know
that no one will ever love you
the way that i do.
