I Know He Has Killed Women

The hair raises on the back of my neck
Validation
I look at him
Knowing he has killed women

I saw their dead naked bodies when our hands touched
I give a gasp
He looks into my eyes hard
I know that he knows that I know

His eyes are black
Darker than a computer’s CPU
They stare into my soul
God save me I think

I give the man his change
After he leaves the store the other check out girl says
He has always given me the creeps
I keep my thoughts to myself; God will get him.

I know that feeling though. There was a family in my neighborhood, I could just tell by the way the guy leered at me and seeing him with his little girl that he was molesting her.
