I Killed Myself Today
i killed myself today Just to see if i still am me.
i spoke the feelings of my own life in poems
and i thought i killed myself until i felt myself
inside your pain -- And who denies (what i am become)
when everyone goes away and i have everything
(just my own words)
when i alone cry.
i shed my crown of thoughts just to say,
"my feelings still disappear --"
i am what i become
my dearest friend
every beat of my
heart i give to you alone
--not to let you down
IF like my heart: if i could
start again: everything
would be alright. If North
was South and West was won
i should lay my love dearest
sweetest friend. If every-
yearning heart had it all
my empire of Love would never
let you down.
