I Keep On Running

There was no coming back, okay, I stayed away, but I kept running
I couldn’t get away from you; even the way I breathe reminds me of you
Remember when we kissed? Your lips are like 2 pillows on mine
I felt a slight smile, and your arms around my hips, getting me closer to yours
I felt the warmth of your body; I was in trance with whole of it
You’re the best drug I’ve ever taken into me, so addictive, so attractive
Your big palms across my skin made me have permanent goose bumps
I stoke my hand in your hair…

Now I just pretend, I cry in any case of touch, I freeze the moment of a glance
And fall into tears until my name is called out, a fake wide smile
Bursts into crying, I wonder who hasn’t seen me cry
I guess it’s you, with your calm deep eyes, I sank my self into
They never saw me be this way, running far, far away
To find the end of this life, but it never ends,
I promised myself I'd love you forever,
Now I'm trapped within my own prison.
