I Just Wanted To Drive You Home

I found you at the edge of nowhere,
tearing veins from the mouth of 
winter’s silence
with someone else’s sadness
in your eyes;
You were alive in it’s last moments. 
Snowflakes followed your stare,
awash in the cure.
