I Just Want To Be

We are just friends okay?
If you see me don’t think I like you
Or you will get your heart broken
I like you because I enjoy being with you
You have certain goofy look in your eyes
That tells me you enjoy being with me
You certainly want to know what I am up to
So I would do best to oblige
But that as far as I go with you
So don’t get your hope up 
It ain’t going nowhere
I need to know that you don’t want to go any further
If you don’t 
Then I won’t see you
So if you can’t enjoy the laugh without nothing more
Then laugh you won’t be I guess
But wouldn’t you want to be?

Diane Christian June 5, 2014 at 8:13 AM a lovely poem, its nice to know where we stand with a person in life, its nice if people tell us how it is from day one as holding back can cause heartache down the line, i had a friend and i was in this situation and found hes drinking single day, so had to walka way from any relationship prospect.
