I just want friends

All I want is friends

For people to notice me and accept me for who I truly am

For me to be my authentic self and not push people away for being different

For others to come to me before I go to them

I know sometimes I just want to be the center of attention but sometimes it’s different, sometimes I just want to have people who truly care about me how I care for them

It’s hard to make new friends

to find the right people

the people who have the right values and morals

the people who make you laugh even when they’re not trying

the people who don’t make fun of you for being different

the people who care

Lift up your hand a count your fingers, if you have more friends than your fingers you have too many, a wise man told me that, and a lot of truth to it. Be true to yourself, nice poem!
