I Just Found Out

I Just Found Out.

I just found out today, that someone liked my poem,
A little part of me makes me scribble when I’m alone.
Some thoughts that flow within, make me want to write,
Some torment me when I’m awake and usually at night.
I’m not a sad person, but at times I have felt all alone,
Even though I have a family and friends that I can phone.
But it’s nice to look at life differently and with an open mind,
And sometimes I may write something, that others may find
Makes them, look at things differently or raise a happy smile,
I just found out today, I might just do that once in a while.

Seosamh, awe, this is very sweet. I am glad you are finding out many will like your poems.. I know the opinion of family and friends matter... but when it comes from a stranger.... well you know the feeling... LINDA

Thank you Linda you have been most kind to me with your kind comments on my poetic efforts. Its funny, but my family don't read any of my poems, but it is nice to have someone take the time to read and comment once in a while. Encouragement to improve one's writing is not a bad thing.
