I Just Can'T Win- Nobody Wins
Member contest scores on Poetry Soup
Have me completely confused
My first contest; I thought I’d won first place
Comments I read, gave that news
When I viewed the actual contest results
Looked for name on the top
It wasn’t there; it was fifth on the list
Multiple winners should stop
To make things worse, I received some comments
About a contest I tried
Got Congratulations on my placement
Thirty four of thirty five?
Why not just list the poems in order
First place is truly first place
There is no need to have twelve number ones
Not winning is no disgrace
Of course this is one person’s opinion
I may be totally wrong
And I’m sure it will make no difference
I just had to sing my song
