I Hope You Sleep Well

I Hope You Sleep Well

Living in your controlling world of pain, hate and fear
Where only money and greed is all that you hold dear
Within all your lies that you tell
I hope you somehow sleep well

Where you destroy lives, just to have control
Only to have your bank account reap you whole
Not caring who you buy and sell
How can you really sleep well?

What happens when you loose the power you once gained
All that you have worked for is gone and nothing remained
Your future uncertain, now lost in your own hell
Even in all torments, I still hope you sleep well

There will come a time when you must answer for your sins
When karma comes a calling, all of your atonement begins
Looking deep in the eyes of our god, what could you truly tell
Will you be able to ask forgiveness, will you forever sleep well?
