I Hope To See You More
To you, my friend, it is that I write,
and you know who you are.
I value the encouraging words that you share
more than you know by far.
You've taken of late the time to read
line upon line, page after page.
I feel as if I'm getting to know you
as you'd know me I'd wage.
It seems we have much in common
through the expressive gift of the pen.
And the placing of our words to verse-
why should that ever end ?
So through the picturesque things you write
I hope to see you more.
With each line that you put to pen
who knows what lies in store ?
