I Hope This Will Help

Dear Mom,
This letter is for your eyes only
Something to reflect on
Whenever you're feeling lonely
I know these days and times things are tough
And you know that's not pleasing to me
Just to know behind ever tear there's a smile
That makes the hardest things easy
Life's problem don't have a friend
No matter whom you are, or what you've been through
Thanks for being A Strong Black Woman
And not allowing them to break you
Single Parenting, Alcoholism, Drug Addiction, Drug Dealing, The Prison System, and even Teen Pregnancy
They all threw rocks at you
But you never shattered
Simply Loving the Lord with your whole heart
Is all that mattered
You taught me to keep prayer as my partner in ever hand that is dealt
I LOVE YOU for that, and thank you very, very much
I HOPE THIS WILL HELP!

...and not allowing them to break you. Life needs mamas to stand strong. Your mom, an inspiration!
