I Hope
A hush falls upon morning earth
As silence whispers through the trees
Taken far to distant lands
Shared among the land and seas
As silence overcomes the land
The soft reminders of the past
I enjoy the time, the quiet peace
Forever hoping it shall last.
I hope that it will last.
The morning dew enshrouds the earth
With wetness made to cleanse it all
From upon the breezes, gracefully,
The morning dew’s allowed to fall.
Unto the earth it shows anew
The chance of hope, for all, each day
I love the morning for this view
Forever hoping it always stays.
I hope it always stays.
