I Hold You Dear

A ray of sunlight has pierced
    The blackest umbra of twilight that once 
        Cloaked me. I suddenly remember
               The gleam in your smile
               The sparkle in your eyes
             Out of sight, but in my mind
         I hold you dear and near, my love
      For you've indelibly traced your name 
          On my yearning, desolate heart
             With your healing fingertips
