I Heard From You Today
I heard from you today.
You took my breath away.
So much I needed to say.
I want you to be okay.
I always hold it in.
Afraid to lose or win.
Afraid to actually begin.
My own biggest sin.
You were my entire world.
My life. My heart. My girl.
Made my hear whirl.
Made my feelings swirl.
With you I had it all.
You never let me fall.
I slowly lost it all.
I kept up my wall.
Id do everything different for another chance.
Wouldnt look back or even glance.
Id do what right and take my stand.
Id show you I want to be your man.
I heard from you today.
Im so far from okay.
