I Hear Your Ego
Your impression of my hearts expression,
fed your ego and you twisted my intentions,
instead of listening in the conversation,
to sit down and actually hear what i was saying,
but again,,your ego gets in the way,
your communications cut short, you only hear what you say,
so if everything falls apart from the door,
because of all this, how can you expect more?,
the reason you still cannot let me go,
is because you can't see past your face in spite of your nose,
and this argument has gone on for way too long,
then again,,please tell me who else has the guts to tell you your wrong,
i've seen many shake their heads saying he doesn't listen,
so consumed in himself, he can't see what he's missing,
man, are you still studying me, trying to figure this all out?,
can't you see i love you, not your ego, now will you please throw it out!
