I Hear the Subtle Speech...

What we need is reassurance,
When we re-stake a claim of doubt,
What we need is reassurance,
To make a relation last longer.
How we met, I played cards with chance,
A friendly query,
Would you like to dance?
Will we be assured,
A sturdy wall to keep us safe,
Will we be assured,
That our favorite feeling won't linger.
Don't give in, old habits painted red,
Since my main objective,
Is to keep you in my head.
