I Have Known Him

I have known him...

I have looked unto his face
And saw the face of beauty
And love and light
And all the colors of the rainbow

I have kissed his lips
And felt upon them
The embrace of the sun
On a dewy spring morning

I have looked into his eyes
And in that instant felt all resistance evaporate
Like drops of water
In the desert sun

For to have looked unto his face
Is to have known the face of beauty
And of love and light
And all the many colors of the rainbow

It's the one that started my writing. We were laying on a bed, with a gorgeous view of Sandton at sunset and the words just came to me. It will always be one of my favorites too :-)
