I Have Daylight

I ran out quickly in the sun
And captured daylight, oh such fun
It’s in a jar beside my chair
Now it’s not going anywhere
I saved it and I’ll save some more
Because they don’t have it at the store
It’s daylight saving time you know
So save some daylight, not some snow
Seal it in a jar real tight
And let it warm you in the night

Oh, John, love your poem, daylight in a jar. I am just going to have to do the same. I love that warm daylight. Good luck in the contest. 7 Blessings Eve

Thanks Eve. I had fun writing that one. We will see how it does.
