I Have Been a Petticoat

Slender man is pliable,
slender man is fun and kind.
Slender man is ready to be used to help mankind.

I have been a petticoat, he tells me.
I have been a hamster ball.
I have been of use to others – young, old, small and tall.

Slender man is flexible.
Slender man is willing.
Slender man is confident, his smile is oh, so filling!

I have been a spider, he tells me.
I have been a flea.
But being a petticoat was the happiest time for me!

Caren, I have to admit I have no idea what this poem is about, but I'll live!

This was in response to a writing prompt called Thin Man where the thin man had eight legs and looked like a spider.
