" I Have Always Dreamed "
Looking deeply in her pretty eyes
I saw her glowing stare
I could not speak a single word
to express the way I care.
I placed my hands upon her face
to hold my feelings in
I could not speak those words again
and let this love begin.
The last time that I told her
how much she meant to me
pulling my hands away from hers
she said to leave her be.
I could not speak those words again
for fear of her deep fright
I thought it was the last time
until that wonderful night.
Her fingers traced around my lips
slowly pushing away my frown
I was not ready for her bliss
in her love I wanted to drown.
My heart was beating quickly
with happiness I began to cry
she looked at me and said those words
" I want you to be my guy. "
I Have Always Dreamed this moment
and prayed it would come true
she held my hand and gently kissed
and said that " I love you..."
