I Have a Secret
I have a secret,
It tears me apart
Each and every day,
Making its way to my heart,
I have a secret,
Something I cannot destroy.
You can't mess around,
Because this secret is not a toy,
I have a secret
I can no longer control,
Every so often
Making damage its toll.
I have a secret,
It keeps me awake at night.
Sometimes I can't sleep,
Because of all the fright
I have a secret
that’s killing me inside,
Keeping the real me
Locked away to hide.
I have a secret
That's making me die.
I'm not getting well.
But the worst part is
I have a secret
That I cannot tell...
