I have a New Song

I have a new song
A melody in my heart
Deep down in my soul
I’ve been given a second chance
A glimpse in the mirror
I see that I’m not the same 
Person I used to be.
God has given me a new song
He has lifted my burdens, and
Now I’m free.
In the past it was hard for me
To see what your plans you
Had set before me.
Today I can see clearly.
How things are supposed to be
Some people, and things had to be
Remove to make room, for my 
Blessings, and one day soon
We will understand, and our 
Tears will pass away, and in
Your presence we will forever stay.
