I Have a Mouse In My House
I have a mouse in my house my friend Carlyle said.
She added, “I see it so often I have pictures of it; it is well fed.
The weird thing is that Mammoth has not noticed it, the hog!
Mammoth is her do-nothing-but-sleep-overweight dog.
One of the pictures is of the mouse running past Mammoth, her lout.
Mammoth is lying on his back, mouth opened wide, tongue out.
I called my husband over to look at the photo. “That’s a rat,” he said.
Explains the bumpy pink tail and the enormous head.
