I Have a Mouse

I have a mouse
That lives in my house
Cant catch him no matter how i try
Cause this mouse is a sneaky mouse and very very sly
He waits in hiding for a crumb to drop to the floor
Comes gobbles it up and goes back to wait for more
He travels this path several times a day
I think he brought a suitcase and really plans to stay
I hear him squeaking when the house is still
But hes to full from his daily fill
So after a tiring day i put myself to bed
The cats all rested up and takes the night shift instead
Lying quiet waiting on the kitchen floor
She waits for that mouse to come back for more
She waits all night in the same spot
But that mouse is to sly he wont get caught
I find it rather rude that he invited himself as a guest
He drives the cat crazy and really is a pest
But what can i do in this situation
Only hope this mouse is just on vacation
