I Have a Leaf In My Pocket

i have a leaf in my pocket (i look at the
leaf everyday) it reminds me about the ever changing life (the veins
carry every breath of victory, my darling; and the continuity of growing from
one branch to the other, the roots – foundation of fueling the innate passion)
i fright
how innovation (for you and me are different, my darling) i desire
no realm (to separate you and i as you purify my world, my sweetheart)
and when i light a candle, burn the sage, your veins surrender
to whatever music is being sung to you

i confess a secret nobody knows
(the root of life, the walls of every home and the thorns of every rose
and the clouds with the sky; which protects
deeper than the soul can wish for or heart can deny)
as this is so meaningful how you purify the hearts of every being
even the stars shine for you during the rainy night
you are life giving me life

i have a leaf in my pocket (it reminds me of every breath and I look at the leaf everyday)
