I Have a Chance To Be Happy

I have a chance to be happy
	But it’s not a choice
Chances come and chances go
But choices held in the palm of fate
A fate of unhappiness I can’t control

It’s hard to say goodbye
But it’s harder to go on
I can watch a city die
With no hope of moving on
I’ve seen a 1000 withered nights
Break slowly into dawn
Yet the fear is still lingering on
I wanna sing this song to you
But don’t know who you are
Someone else was gifted with the voice
I feel in my soul,
I didn’t have a choice.
