I Hate You
The energy I spend to carry this hate
is turning into an expensive fate.
I’m a time bomb at an accelerated rate
bring me flowers to commemorate
I self destructed on this date.
Especially,
when you seem so unaware
It fuels the fire of all my care,
makes me want to rip out my hair
and tear you to pieces with my stare
which I think will allow me to repair.
I’m so weary from carrying this pain
because I know it’s all in vein
my entire life can feel the strain
the anger is driving me insane
I cannot imagine the flames ever being tame
Even with all this rain.
I think of you and my body grows tense
my fists clench tight from the suspense
the scene plays out just like a dance
I remind myself hourly of your offense.
Which of course makes little sense!
Greedily seeking that angry burn
incredibly simple to carry and learn
I live for those looks that are full of concern.
and all my happiness will I adjourn
to keep my resolution firm.
