I hang on hiding pain in heart

Pain held in heart I’m hanging on, In life’s gravest gloom, going on. World vicarious watch as if fun, From a cracked mirror peeping on. Smoke billows from my burning heart, I battle but it’s blazing on. How self-seeking can be this world! Friends as foes, askance looking on. With one-track will my woes wear me, Though hurt, my heart’s just heaving on. _________________________ Ghazal |20.07.2025| pain, heart, world, woes
