I Hand You My Tears

God you are in my heart,
You keep my heart from falling apart,
I have been in pain from the start.

Thank  you for protecting my dad,
He was very ill and feeling bad,
I shed some tears because I was sad.

God, I'm sorry for what I say,
I know that I won't have to pay,
Thank you Jesus for paying my way.

Please keep Satan away from me,
I don't need temptations you see,
My heart needs to be pure and free.

I want to be your precious stone,
I know that I am not alone,
I can't wait to sit by your throne.
