I Had To Do It
Someone else is here with me,
but he's already dead.
I had no choice, I had to do it.
I wanted it to end.
He came through my window,
very late at night.
I woke up cause I could hear him,
it gave me such a fright.
I heard heavy footsteps
dragging down the hall.
I was frozen and I couldn't think'
so I curled up in a ball.
I closed my eyes and saw my life.
I wouldn't let it end.
I got up and shouted, "HELP"!
and that's when he began.
He started by coming close,
eyes burning fire, red.
I kicked him where it hurts the most,
& ripped his eyes out of his head.
Now I live here with his ghost
he comes back to me again.
I hear his footsteps and his voice
I can't get rid of the dead.
