I Had To Do It

I HAD TO DO IT...

I called myself “beast” to unleash the animal within
Tempered with the norms of reality and fantasy
I unlocked the real meaning of truth in-between
I had to put success to my nemesis
Upgrade my thoughts into reality as my emphasis
Social standards amiss to my expectations,
It takes but a few to understand these outstanding implications

Dreams become true when you aren’t looking
The outcome is a success story to your own booking
Initial mistakes became substantial upgrades
Real diamonds withstand to easy breaking
The above proven in my eased up tension

I had to succumb to the pressure
Re-define my struggles as a form of immense pleasure
The passing of seven types of hell,
Pain aligned with torture, you can never simply measure
Ruins within, I buried the treasure

I closed my eyes to change my destiny
Talked to the Almighty to gather my epiphany

The start of a new journey…

I unlocked the mystery to my misery,
Cursed my destiny with failure
Foretold my success with the hope to the future

There’s a silver lining in every dark cloud
I sent a message to the Angels with cries aloud
I took my dreams into action and wrote
Changed my course of action to what I loved and fought
I had to do it…
