I Had Forgotten

I had forgotten this part
this part where love is returned
this part where it wraps you in its golden warmth
where it slips into your thoughts and makes you smile
a remembered comment, a remembered touch, a remembered kiss
I had forgotten this part
the feeling of hearing you say it for the first time
I love you...spoken with your lips, your eyes, your heart
I had forgotten....
that love could be like this
