I had dreams
Once long ago
I had dreams
That filled the night with ghosts
Of things I wanted to forget
In the day’s sunlight
Sadness a rain of sadness
Washes away the dreams
Can’t see the stars
And the moon is hidden
In a country far away
Once long ago the ghosts
Came marching into my room
Here we are they said
Lost hope despair fear
Did you think we would forget
The time long ago
When your dreams flew away
Never to come back
