I Had a Thought That Night

I must be unthinkable. You walk so many roads Yet I never cross once. Your mind is always racing And your mouth is always in motion. Yet I never get to see or hear Who you truly are. I must be unthinkable. I walk beside you every single Dreaded day Yet you are too high up To see me. I'm afraid of heights. Why is it me that has to do the climbing? I must be unthinkable. I speak And I sing So loudly That it hurts Yet you are unable to Really listen to this voice of mine. I must be unthinkable. I ache for you And I hold my head for you. Yet your eyes are attracted To the glittering objects. Not my own, For they have been tossed around By careless hands. Who knows how much longer I'll last. I must be Unthinkable. I have tried and failed Many times To look you in the eyes. But our contact lasts Only Seconds. I must Be Unthinkable. Even if you think Of me For a moment, You've never shown To me That I am a thought. I want to tell you That I think of you all the time. I want to tell you That you're always shining. I just Want to tell you That I care for you. If that is unthinkable Then do you Even Truly Think?
