I Had a Little Mimic Once

I had a little mimic once when I was about twelve. If my hair was in a ponytail, she would tie her hair in a ponytail. If I was wearing an apron, she would tie on an apron. If I laughed at a joke, she laughed, but more loudly, like she did not get it. I asked her politely a few times to please dial it back a bit. But anything I said She repeated. Anything I did, she did. Just a few seconds later. She would not stop. She could not stop. She told me she tried, But no matter what, if I did it or said it, she did it or said it too. It got so annoying my family finally moved away to get rid of them. Because her mother was also mimicking my mother, and her father was mimicking my father And they apparently disliked it even more than I did.
