I Got Busted By Fresh Prints

I broke into 3 houses just around the corner
I am not a regretter or a mourner
So careful how I mark my spot
You will never guess how I got caught
I am a kind and generous thief, leaving behind bed mints
I got busted by fresh prints
My story is a pathetic one, so please don't laugh
When you strike gold, you gotta have the shaft
I never use gloves as I am thievin'
I think it's the loss sense of security that leaves them grievin'
With a cell mate, my name went from Conrad to Constance
Stupid move being busted by fresh prints
I will be up for parole next week
If I am denied, I will drop my drawers and turn the other cheek
I have done a lot of reading to improve my intelligence
Not too smart being busted by fresh prints
