I Gladly Sigh
I gladly sigh, when seasons bid me bye
When part of me is stolen by their charm
When I find in their composure no harm
When in their shades birds and bees freely fly
When earth, oceans and heavens seem draw nigh
When I win fathoming their artful arm
I gladly sigh...
When buds and blossoms stand peacefully shy
When in their presence devious unarm
When no death and decay blow their alarm
When I see harmony holds its head high
I gladly sigh...
