I Give Up
What more is there left for me to give?
What more do you want!
The tears have all been shed
The blood has all been bled
So what more can I give
I gave you my heart
And you tore it apart
I gave you my hope
But it wasn't enough to cope
I gave you my everything
I gave you my life
I gave you my grace
I gave you my friendship
But you threw it all away
How long must I let you use me
Failing often as you take and take and
take
And you who has the audacity to say "best
friends"
We are not
And we never were
For I never was
I cannot be what I never was
I can only be all that I was meant
Nothing
I am merely nothing
And through your actions its louder and
clearer than ever
What more do you want
I cry for you
Wish for your help yet you leave me alone
Buy if you cry or call for help in fear or
anguish
You EXPECT me and as always I am
there...
But no more
I have nothing left
I give up
This is the last
This is the end
