I Give Thee My Thanks

Thanks for the summer,
thanks for the winter,
i give thee my thanks for all that is better.

For words that are sensual,
for words that are pleasant,
i give thee my thanks for all this sweet nectar.

With worries and doubt,
where no hope to be found,
i give thee my thanks for giving me shelter.

When sweet blossoms wither,
when the north wind is nigh,
i give thee my thanks for keeping me alive.

When comes the rain,
when love seems so strained ,
i give thee my thanks for your little prayer.
