I Gaze Horizons of the Day

I gaze horizons of the day
I only see what I can see
But there before my eyes does shine
A moment caught in time
Where everything is beautiful
Because I call you mine
I find a sunrise formed of love
Sent down from up above
I gaze horizons - of the day

Ok the song “I’ve grown accustomed to her face” by
Nat King Cole came on as I was flipping stations
this morning on my way to work and I had
the melody stuck in my head so I wrote a verse
to it.


P.S. I was listening to Aerosmith prior to that. : )

I am a fan of all music and like john said, it always inspires me. The funny thing, I was wanting to write something this morning so I was listening to the Beatles channel, looking for inspiration, flipped the station and there was Nat on the Sinatra channel. That was all it took.
