I gave my heart to you
I gave you my soul
I made you my whole world
But you wanted more
You wanted me, but you wanted your freedom
You kept me around while you messed with them
You promised it was only me
While you were texting with them
You laid in bed with me
while you wrote them messages
You went out with them then came home to me
You kissed her right in front of me
You cuddled with her and pictures ended up on the internet
You wrote poems about them thinking id never find them
They send pictures to you and you think i dont see them
It would have killed me if you let me go
but it hurts so much more to know it was all lies
I handed you my heart, and you slowly smashed it
I moved across the country,
a young teen mom,
all on my own with my baby,
for you.
Just to be lied to and cheated on.
Your cold hearted, and your selfish
Then you want to tell me i treat you bad?
You want to say im the reason we are breaking up?
Well guess what sweetie,
You may have broke me
but i can mend myself.
I dont need you,
I dont want you.
My heart will mend with time,
and i will be stronger than ever.
Ill spot people like you,
and not even waste my time.
And when im out there living, and loving someone new,
Youll be sitting at home, alone, regretting each time
you pushed me alittle farther away.
Regretting each day you didnt hold on to me tighter.
Noone will love you like i do.
But someone out there, will love me the way i deserve to be loved.
You made the biggest mistake of your life my dear,
but each time you cheated, you helped me step towards
the greatest choice in mine.
