I Gave Her Flowers

I    GAVE   HER    FLOWERS


I gave her flowers  -

They were so elegant, so lovely,

So pretty and so fresh,

Well shaped, well proportioned,

So perfumed, so velvet

Soft in petals,  so full

Of gaiety - so perfect -

Just like her.
