I Found Myself Searching

I found myself searching for you
Through many men who just won't do,
As they simply cannot compare to you,
But truth is it is never them making me blue.

Instead I decided I will follow through
On my great awakening, to be true
To my ability to show love and woo
Every man willing to satisfy my feelings too.

I found myself searching for you
In every little thing we used to do,
But I may have to follow through
On undoing all of which of me is untrue.

Instead I decided it is anything I will do
To attain happiness that is consistent too.
I know I can be happier without you,
But our separation just won't do.
